As Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit and lead by example so to do I want to be led by the holy spirit and by example using everything that the Lord has given me in order to do so most effectively and most importantly spreading the gospel in completing all that he has given me to do. Around may or June of last year as I was running and training I Began to think about what I was doing and why I was doing it and also started considering why other people keep fit and realised that we could often be motivated not just for health reasons but by Vanity itself then I started to think about what to do with the health and strength that God has given me. Run with the gospel to run for a cause to help others and as I was thinking about all this my line manager at work invited me to run a half marathon for dementia and Alzheimer's sufferers so I agreed which takes place this Sunday the 7th of April in Kent on a road called Pilgrims Way. The reason why this is quite significant is because when the Lord revealed himself to me I was living on a road called Pilgrims Way for me that was a clear sign. More recently while I've been training for that I started to consider what James was saying about True Religion which looks after the orphan and the widow and then I remembered the email that I received about this muskathlon and knew straight away it was something I needed to do. From the beginning of my Christian walk I was blessed to have a precious pastor Who took me to an open doors meeting right at the beginning of my Christian walk to identify with my brothers and sisters who suffer for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ I will forever be eternally grateful for that experience and it's a wonderful thing to be apart of a Fellowship who's Focus is on the local community, the body of Christ and the sufferings of our brothers and sisters around the world if I can make a difference to my brother's in North Korea and not just North Korea it's a wonderful thing so with the strength that Jesus gives me I want to use it until that day when he says well done thy good and faithful servant. My greatest motivation has to be the love the I have received from Jesus and the way he's taught me and is still teaching me how to love others. I look forward by Gods Grace to meeting other brothers , sisters and working together on this tremendous mission. Thank you open doors for all that you do May God continue to bless you in all the work you do for his Kingdom . Shalom
